I went for CELINE DION'S concert on April the 13th!

IT WAS SO TOTALLY COOL! LIKE OMG!!!

*ehem. get a grip*

It was a day of long waiting, loud screams and...... magic...

I was all dressed and psyched by 2:30pm. Can you believe that? Yes, i was ready THAT early. Two reasons. I had to pick Amanda up and I was really truly psyched! Not that I was jumping up and down like a giddy school girl, but seriously, CELINE DION!!! ZOMGAWDDD!!!

*ok, that was for kicks*

Picked Amanda and headed straight for KLCC. We went to have lunch with her friend, Qynn. Had a try at KFC, but it was so damn bloody packed. So we settled for the foodcourt. God, girls can really bitch. HAHA. But it was fun to hear what they had to say about every other girl, listening to who was with who and who had broken up with who. GOD. It was entertainment non the less.

It was 4:45pm, and it was time to head on to STADIUM MERDEKA!

I decided to park in VI. I mean, you would think an ex-student who had studied there for SEVEN GOD DAMN YEARS would know a thing or two about if the school's gate would be locked.

But not to Amanda.

She never let it go! TOTALLY worried if they would close the gate or worse, tow my car. I get it, who wants to take public transport home at 11pm. BUT it was crazy fun to tease her and get her all worked up for nothing. HAHAHA.

The three of us were pretty early, and got to see CELINE during her sound checks. We stood as far as 300m and saw the ant sized beauty that she was. She was so hot, speaking in french and singing bits and pieces of her songs to test out the system. We had a preview to concert.

The concert FINALLY started at 9:15pm. Can you top that? Bloody hell. We waited from 5 till 9. FOUR FCKING HOURS. And for what? CELINE had to wait for our Agong and our Deputy Prime Minister. One would think that for men of so high educaton, they'd be able to at least read the time on the stupid invite . Bacalah ticket, bodoh!

It was a really awesome concert. She was superb and sang many of the crowd's favourites. EVEN MINE. haha. She ended the night with, the obvious choice, My Heart Will Go On. It was simply beautiful. She came on stage in a gold gown accompanied by the flute and that got the crowd cheering and screaming and then it went to pin drop silence as she sang. Truly breathtaking.

Sent Qynn home, and then Amanda and I had supper at MCD's before I sent her home. Lets just say.... dessert was just too sweet.

It was a really great concert. She was breathtaking. She was amazing.

And I? well... lets just say I was probably the ONLY one that got my ticket money's worth!!!

Good News For People Who Love Bad News - Modest Mouse

All my life I thought Ken and Barbie were the perfect couple. They looked cute together, and every girl wanted them in a set... well, almost every girl.

Girl: "For Christmas, I want a Barbie and a G.I. Joe."
Santa: "Don't you know Barbie comes with Ken?"
Girl: "Oh no Santa, Barbie fakes it with Ken, she cums with G.I. Joe."
Chris: -_-"
Guess its bad news for Ken.

Cryin' Won't Help You Now - Ben Harper

So maybe a reconstruction of my blog would do me some good. I haven't been inspired by anything worth blogging about. Well, there was a party that i WAS going to blog about, but i've yet to receive the pictures from a very special someone.

I've been at my desk all morning (since 8am) and have been bored since. Work isn't all its hyped up to be, but then again, since when has ANYONE bragged about work. Unless your a famous movie star...... or a gigolo.

Amanda has already started college, so to has Nicky. Others have already gone overseas to further their education, I'm stuck behind a desk, staring at a computer screen, typing what appears to be a pretty pointess blog-post. God this is sad.

I guess the whole study life is what I really miss. Well, it shouldnt be called "study-life", since I don't really put much effort into the "study" part. It's mainly the sosial environment that I miss. Don't get me wrong, I met some pretty awesome people here at The New Straits Times. Gani, Joe and Sam have all been amazing so far, but nothing beats skipping class with the boys, making out by the stairs with that pretty girl or even sneaking into the science lab just for kicks.

sigh.

There is something to look forward to though.... CELINE DION's CONCERT!!

I'm sure everyone will find out why soon enough. ;)

Till then, lets hope someone I see on the road gets knocked by a 10ft lorry or the NSTP Building burns down. I NEED something to blog about.
