Man hits own car then sues himself

My friend sent me this in email, and thought i should share it.

Mar 16 7:17 AM US/EasternLODI, Calif. When a dump truck backed into Curtis Gokey's car, he decided to sue the city for damages. Only thing is, he was the one driving the dump truck. But that minor detail didn't stop Gokey, a Lodi city employee, from filing a $3,600 claim for the December accident, even after admitting the crash was his fault. After the city denied that claim because Gokey was, in essence, suing himself, he and his wife, Rhonda, decided to file a new claim under her name. City Attorney Steve Schwabauer said this one also lacks merit because Rhonda Gokey can't sue her own husband. "You can sue your spouse for divorce, but you can't sue your spouse for negligence," Schwabauer said. "They're a married couple under California law. They're one entity. It's damage to community property." But Rhonda Gokey insisted she has "the right to sue the city because a city's vehicle damaged my private vehicle." In fact, her claim, currently pending at Lodi City Hall, is for an even larger amount _ $4,800. "I'm not as nice as my husband is," she said.

Funny things people will do just to get money... Hmmm... can i sue myself for hitting my leg against the wall... sueing the wall for negligence... why be there huh!?

Today's Hilarious Gaming Headline

Came across this just now, it is a news headline for a game site, explaining that they've found video games that improve fitness of kids...

"A Videogame That is Good For Your Child"

What'll they think of next? A cigarette that cures cancer?

Then belay that chatter...

*no pics were taken cause stupid brother forgot to load batts into my cam... so i shall just use captions and u do the rest... =)*

FUTSAL!!! Finally it was the end of the week and we could set aside the books (just for a while) and really get out there and totally exert ourselfs! And boy do i mean really really EXERT! Today was the mother of all exertations!

Exertation - Nope, no such word. Even looked it up at the trustworthy Wikipedia but all I got was Equine Exertional Rhabdomyolysis, which was like 49.6% relevent. I didn't bother clicking it, not being my curious self... for the moment i saw @**#$lysis, it was just like BIO. In bio, you've lysis here, lysis there, lysis everywhere! Heck, even the stupid exam essay questions asked about enzymes... and that made me think of Pn. Hasnani, my bio teach. Great fun to talk to and gossip with... but gets really really boring when she starts teaching...

So, back to 15 grown up boys chasing a ball,

*insert pic here. im wearing an orange shirt, holding a water bottle, posing a smile with danny*

What fun we had today! We played with the regular kaki, we had the dannys, chun yaus, nickkees, thiagus, as well as my other classmates!! *your important yes, just can't name all* The two hour game really took a lot out of us. Yet, the game was still enjoyable for us, and we wanted more! *us = my team!! haha, since we practically whipped the other side*

*insert pic here. me!! posing with a new friend i made today! randome chinaman steven!*

And who says chasing a ball is dumb? Besides getting a full work out, it gives the oppertunity for anyone to MAKE FRIENDS!! Yes, thats right! Play futsal now and theres and endless supply of new people to meet, just waiting for you!! I'm not advertising, but it really is true. Today, I met my new friend, random chinaman Steven! I learnt a lot about Steven. Well, he's not really the best futsal player ever, but heck, he's sure fun to play with, and he even scored a few, which totally contributes to our team! But, besides that, did you ever know that random chinaman Steven studies finance in Sunway Monash U, and is already in his 2nd year? Did you know that he was 21 years old, and drives a car!? I do now!

The game ended at about 2:30pm, but that wasn't the end for us! NOPE! For this group of 5 guys asked us for a friendly game and seeing as all their friends let go aeroplane, we obliged, and got killed. We were so so exhausted but still gave them a run around before finally conceding. After the game was over, Kevin (thats the guy who invited, another random chinaman) wanted to play more games with us! So we exchanged numbers and he promised to call next week! See! I made two new friends today! Futsal, the beautiful game that exceeds all boundries!

Today's events made me think. If everyone could be as friendly as Kevin and Steven were to us/me, wouldn't this world be a better place? For there would be no wars, no fights, no evil deeds... just peace, hope and love.... HAHA... I should have contested in Miss Malaysia.

Got home and totally wiped out. But can you really blame me? After all, I played and I scored. And I don't just mean goals! *wink*
*insert pic of me! smiling! holding hands with Kevin and Steven*

Battle: Over.... War: NOT....

Well, I finally can get back to doing the things i LOVE the most! Lying in bed all day long, watching tv, sitting dotting-ly in front of my new 19INCH LCD monitor... yes yes, you've got it! EXAMS ARE OVER!!! Whoopie!

Yet, there's this sence of disappointment and guilt that somehow, i know i didn't do as much as i could have done to prepare for these exams. SIGH... ive been sighing a lot lately. As it came to the week before the exams, i DID begin to study. Locked myself up in my room and studied from day till night. When it came to exam week, i studied the moment i got home, for my next paper. Would go to bed at around 11pm, and awake again at 4AM!!! I know guys, thats so NOT me right?

Yet, with all the time spent on studying, when it came to the morning of the exam, there was still another mountain of chapters that i hadn't finished! Then it dawned on me... I really gotta buckle down and REALLY STUDY. As kyuan would say it.. "study like shit"... haha...

Like shit. We seem to be able to reference anything with this foul four letter word, dont we? we compare taste, smell (well obviously), touch, weather, sight, reading material, someones face, someones speech, someone.... gosh, practically anything and EVERYTHING can be compared to it.

"The food tastes like shit" - When someone says that, does that mean he or she has had shit to eat before?? Ive never ever tasted shit before.... dont think i want to...

"He writes like shit" (no reference to wooi hong what so ever)

- so is he or she implying that he writes in the style of shit?? who knew shit would write. i wonder if it could blog...

and then theres everyones fav... "he/she looks like shit"

- HAHA, this one always makes me laugh... figure this one out yourselves

Gosh, i totally deviated from the topic didnt i?!

WELL, I still feel as though i should really start preparing myself for the STPM. After all, this is what i foresee my record book coming back as:

BIO : ok la, maybe a high B

CHEM: probably a B too

PA : oh, within reach of an A

MATH : barely passing

PHY : FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL! FAIL!

NO NO. i dont want that !!! sigh.

But seriously, to anyone who knows me... would i really study? Would i really forsake my computer, my heroes, my one tree hill, my ugly betty, my ps 2... MY LIFE?

the dilemma...

but its pretty obvious. I gotta start soon or im so gonna

FAIL LIKE SHIT!

yeaps, shit fails too!
