Take me home

I sit here with an aching heart,
watching you walk away,
waiting for that day,
when you'd never have to say goodbye.

Everytime you walk out that door,
you take a piece of me with you,
and leave me in a daze.

Its not that i dont understand,
i just wish it wasnt so,
i wish it was years from now,
in a place and time where you have all of me,
